《暮光夜寻》首次以电影般的倒叙方式通过音乐的抽象语言讲述记忆的启示，第一章的音乐是最后一章音乐的折回。以环形结构作为线索，在音乐塑造的丰富的视觉场景想象当中，故事首尾相连，重新开始。追溯七个在永恒当中无限循环的，相互依存的，向内心探寻的时间叙事曲。
音乐作品选曲结合了部分2015-2023年，近十年之间未正式发行的，为现代舞剧场编舞而作曲创作的音乐选集，以及部分2023年近期新完成的音乐作品。在此基础上重新设定概念,重新编排整理。整体音乐部分于2023年7月初版完成。

Mu Guang Ye Xun (Twilight Diaries) is an ambient and classical music album by the Chinese contemporary musician and composer Liu Yi-wei.

" Twilight Diaries" is a unique ring-structured musical narrative, that reveals memories in cinematic flashbacks. The music of the first chapter is a return to the last chapter. Tracing back seven imaginative scenes and time ballads that are endlessly cycling in eternity, and diving deep into the heart.

The majority of works are based on musical pieces Liu Yi-wei composed for collaborations with modern dance theaters and choreographies between 2015 and 2022, completed by two recent works from 2023.

This corpus of works set the foundation of the album, with the intention to reset, and to form a new concept and structure. The overall process was completed in July 2023.

The dialogue narration voices come from the dancers' discussion on personal memory and digital media during the break in the rehearsal hall of Lei-Dong Theater Beijing.
